Central Perk KGP

I have lived life anonymously and apart from the salvation
bla bla, I really thought of world as an escape route. But
something has changed lately. I have friends and we
have our own escape route the Central Perk, Harrys.
After each class, Harrys is a place we can be traced to.
Occassionally we defect to other escapes.

Life is a variation and we do believe in it. We try a variety
of conveyance to the eating less chatting more restaurant. Be
it Bicycles, Bikes or the favourite two legged journey,
everyone makes sure to reach there. And somebody surely
knows how many jokes have been made on that road walking.
Even the Compu Dep looks dwarfed by the great road and
the great service it provides to the pedestrians who walk on
it to reach Harrys.

Topics of discussion range from Nightouts to Assignments,
to Proffesors and Bandis. Tea is a commonity with Egg Chow and
Onion Masala Dosa or Pyazi and Samose + Meetha. Harrys
provides a very congenial environ below the tree canopies to
eat less and chat more. And often we meet the department seniors
having their own share of time with us there. We believe in
variety. Harrys is an excellent place to be satisfied with variations.
Like almost every restaurant in Kgp, Harrys works cohesively
with another restaurant Chillies. Kgp is filled with a twin
restaurant concept. Vegies+Eggies, Sahara+Dreamland. Chillies
serves better food options with Bread Bhujia, Maggi,
Egg Pakoda and Uthapam. ..Fact.. Egg is the most consumed
edible in IIT Kharagpur.

But like the temporal concept of nature, our Central Perk
gets shift during off hours. We have a night hangout, Chhedis.
Chhedis is a typical place I had heard stories of before coming
to IIT. Located outside the campus, it is no more than a
dhaba, even lesser. But the kind of respect and belongingness
it generates in an IITian is enormous. Famous for its Tinku,
though personally I don't like it which is essentially an egg
burger, it again has a major seating outside. Open almost
throughout, it closes only in night for about three hours.
While having nightouts, we travel far to reach there. But
eating Egg Maggi during nights is the most satisfying
experience in my life.

Popularity ratings of a restaurant here is decided by the
open air service with less-eating-more-chatting facility.
Both these hangouts excel in this regard. Chhedis gets an
edge due to ruggedness it provides with the
anytime-no-worry facility which it provides to the
hungry souls.
